If it’s ignored

What happens if your directive is ignored?

A refusal only works if the person making the decisions actually sees it. A scan does two things at once, so you are not left with someone’s memory of the event.

At the same time

A text goes out. The people you named get an alert when the QR code is scanned or the document is opened. They know it is happening while it is happening. How the texts work.

At the same time

The view is sealed. We keep a record of exactly what was on the screen and when it was read. That record is signed and dated outside our system, so it does not rest on us staying honest.

Private by Design, Secured by Technology

Your personal medical forms are never indexed by search engines, published publicly, or stored on an open blockchain. Instead, your physical QR code acts like a unique, secure key. When a medical professional scans it, our system creates an encrypted, tamper-proof record of the event to prove the hospital saw your wishes.

Here is how we lock in that evidence without compromising your privacy:

01

A Private Digital Snapshot:

The millisecond your document is displayed, we create a private cryptographic "fingerprint" of the transaction. This is a string of numbers that proves exactly what was shown on screen without revealing your identity or medical data to the public.

02

Sequential View Chaining:

Each new scan is mathematically linked to the one before it. If a hospital tries to alter or delete an entry from the access log after the fact, the chain instantly breaks.

03

Independent Verification:

An outside certificate validates the timestamp of the scan. Anyone can audit this security signature using free tools, without ever accessing your file or needing a WearableDocs login.

04

An Immutable Time-Stamp:

We anchor the time and date of the scan to the Bitcoin blockchain using OpenTimestamps. No medical information or personal data is ever sent to the blockchain. We only record a timestamp of the transaction, creating an unalterable legal receipt that proves exactly when the hospital read your document.

Sealed & verified · 2026-09-02

Each view is signed and dated so you can prove what was on the screen. Anyone can check it. It does not name who opened the page, and it is not a notarization.

The Tamper-Proof Evidence We Protect for You

If a hospital overlooks your directive, we hand your family the unalterable audit log needed to hold them accountable:

  • 01The Access Log: The precise date, time, and approximate hospital network location of the scan.
  • 02The Served File Record: Proof of the exact state document that was displayed to the medical team.
  • 03The Cryptographic Seal: An independent signature verifying that the audit trail has not been modified.
  • 04The Alert Trail: A verified carrier log showing that your emergency contacts were actively texted during the emergency.
